Kate is a professional writer and editor from New Jersey who loves numbers as much as words. She’s equally as comfortable in a spreadsheet as a Word document and can spot a math error as quickly as a comma splice. That’s why finance writing is her favorite niche: it’s the best of both worlds!

While in university studying for her writing degree, Kate started freelancing to help pay the rent. After graduating, she officially launched her own writing and editing business. In the years since then, it has grown into a full-time endeavor (with one or two corporate detours along the way). She works with a wide variety of clients—from authors to tech companies to SEO marketing firms—to bring their visions to life with words.

As a writer, Kate is passionate about simplifying complex topics and helping readers build happier, healthier, and more successful futures. When she isn’t working, you can find her in the middle of a lake on a paddle board, trying a new vegan recipe, petting the nearest dog, or exploring a national park.
